Running TweetDeck @ startup!
I use TweetDeck. I think it’s a great app and it’s lots of fun. It runs on Adobe’s AIR platform, and easily let’s you do all your twittering from yout desktop.
TweetDeck is your personal browser for staying in touch with what’s happening now, connecting you with your contacts across Twitter, Facebook and more.
TweetDeck shows you everything you want to see at once, so you can stay organised and up to date.
It however seems to lack a load at startup option. Which really stinks for most twitter-heads. No problem. Here is how you add TweetDeck (or any program really) to startup on vista.
- Find your TweetDeck icon and Copy it. (right click > copy)
- Click the Start button, then All Programs, and scroll down until you find “Startup”.
- Right click on the “Startup” folder and choose “Open”.
- Then Paste the copied icon into that folder and you’re done!
You can restart your computer now to see it pop open by itself, or just wait until you actually need to turn it off. Next time you’re at your computer you’ll be all caught up with you’re tweets.
