Love the soft keyboard. Plenty of great features and very easy to use. Very responsive and predictable. Thanks.

Brennan. You rock! Thanks for posting this. Just got my Dream a few days ago and the lack of a soft keyboard was driving me nuts. I almost returned the phone because of it.

Anyway, thanks for taking the time to share.

Regards,
Dino

Many thanks for this - it has increased the functionality of my Rogers dream immensely!

I wonder if you might have done any work on another problem. Because the Android system does not have 'speed dial' I can't use this as a true hands-free system even with my BlueAnt bluetooth earpiece which has voice commands built in but seems to be looking for speed dial settings on the 'phone. Any suggesions? The built in voice commands in the Rogers firmware requires touching the keyboard to select numbers recalled from memory.
