I’m quite excited for it. Correct me if I’m wrong here, but UP should be the first Pixar movie that Disney would’ve had control over from start to finish.

So, It’s the first movie that will let me judge and see if Disney has ruined the amazing movie making machine that is Pixar. I was cold with it to start, especially because they used the success of other movies as a large promotion to UP, but after watching the entire trailer and checking out a few other resources, UP seems to be on the same track to success as the others.

The first 10 mins are reported to be dialog free (Wall-E was dialog free for the first 35 mins). Which not only is cool and interesting, it really shows their ability to tell a story. Dialog and narration are easy fall backs when your movie makes no sense… trust me, I’ve used both in previous projects. Apparently the first 10 mins are all tearjerkers… so watch out.

After the jump is the trailer. After the balloons opened I knew that Disney didn’t tamper with a formula that works.

p.s. Even from the logo you can feel PIXAR’s presence.

TweetDeck shows you everything you want to see at once, so you can stay organised and up to date.

It however seems to lack a load at startup option. Which really stinks for most twitter-heads. No problem. Here is how you add TweetDeck (or any program really) to startup on vista.

Find your TweetDeck icon and Copy it. (right click > copy)

Click the Start button, then All Programs, and scroll down until you find “Startup”.

Right click on the “Startup” folder and choose “Open”.

Then Paste the copied icon into that folder and you’re done!

You can restart your computer now to see it pop open by itself, or just wait until you actually need to turn it off. Next time you’re at your computer you’ll be all caught up with you’re tweets.
